Winner: Shana Dobson vs Mariya Agapova (UFC)
Shana Dobson entered her August 22 bout with Mariya Agapova 3-4 as a professional and a loser of her last three bouts. She was matched up with 9-1 surging ATT prospect Mariya Agapova. Everyone in the MMA community thought this was going to be her last fight with the promotion and Agapova would march through Dobson.
Entering the contest, Dobson was a +800 underdog and was written off from the start. After weathering the quick start from Agapova in the first round, Dobson took control on the ground and finished the fight with a flurry of punches. It was statistically the biggest upset in the UFC since Holly Holm beat Ronda Rousey back in 2015.
