2020 Fighter Path Annual Awards: Organization of the Year

Winner: UFC

The most challenging year in the history of the sport of mixed martial arts had to be 2020. Throughout it all, only a few organizations were able to continue to put on events. Bellator had a great year putting events on in Europe (including breaking into France). LFA put on 13 events since MMA began to get up and running. Valor FC went under the radar producing shows with an audience, while also providing an opportunity for amateur fighters.

By far the organization of the year in all of sports was the UFC. They were the first organization to take the initiative to put on events despite criticism from the sports world, MMA journalists and fans. Under the leadership of UFC President Dana White, the UFC surpassed all expectations and eclipsed many UFC records.

Runner-Ups:

Bellator

Legacy Fighting Alliance

Valor Fighting Championship
