On January 10, Bloody Canvas MMA announced that UFC bantamweight Kyler Phillips was expected to return to the Octagon to face #14 ranked bantamweight Song Yadong. The contest is expected to take place on March 6 with the location yet to be known, but it is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
