BREAKING: Heavyweight bout Between Davion Franklin and Everett Cummings Booked for Bellator 264

Sources confirmed to Fighterpath MMA that a heavyweight bout between Davion Franklin and Everett Cummings is in the works for Bellator 264 on August 13. Both men are looking to extend their undefeated winning streaks to 4 and 16 respectfully. The source wished to remain anonymous as an official announcement of the bout has yet to be made by the promotion.

Davion Franklin (3-0 MMA, 3-0 Bellator) has spent his entire career with the promotion stringing together three consecutive victories. Two of his three victories have come by way of finish. In May he earned a first round TKO victory be defeating Tyler King at Bellator 259.

Everett Cummings (15-0 1 NC MMA, 2-0 Bellator) will be making his Bellator return after spending the majority of his career with Gladiator Challenge. The 34-year-old has finished all of his professional victories with 12 coming in the very first round. He most recently defeated Sun Davis in March of 2020.

The event will take place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The expected lineup for the card is below:

  • (c) Middleweight Title: Gegard Mousasi vs. John Salter
  • Bantamweight: Raufeon Stots vs. Magomed Magomedov
  • Heavyweight: Marcelo Golm vs. Steve Mowry
  • Heavyweight: Davion Franklin vs. Everett Cummings
